Editor's note: Along with the formation and development of border tourist areas along the country, in recent years, the border provinces in the northwest, ethnic minorities, with their dynamism, creativity and sensitivity, have built tourist villages on the terrain of wild lands with waterfalls pouring down day and night, flowing through green terraced fields of rice and corn. Many peaceful resort houses have been built here, attracting a large number of tourists from many places to visit and stay overnight, while sipping on specialties and enjoying community cultural activities, imbued with national identity. Sin Suoi Ho is a newly formed tourist destination in Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province, and is one of such models. The editorial board respectfully introduces a poem on this topic by journalist, poet, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hong Vinh.
SÌN SUÔN HO INVITATION
Nguyen Hong Vinh
People come to Sin Suoi Ho (1)
Crowded like a big festival
Through the winding mountain pass
Eagerly hand in hand
I come from the Central Highlands.
She comes from Ha Giang
Many young men and women
Excitedly gathered here
Through the terraced fields
The majestic "Heart" Waterfall
Wild but poetic
Bonding love
Bright yellow wild sunflowers
Covering the uphill road
A beautiful little bridge
Graceful through the waterfall
Hidden roofs
Under the cool green trees
The whole family of tourists
Live happily in peace
Variety of entrances
Unique features of the Mong people
Leading into a cool house
The lobby is bright pink.
Brocade dress
Attracting visitors from all over
The girls tried each other on.
Choose the color you like…
Oh Phong Tho, Lai Chau
Like a giant magnet
We don't want to leave
Rare "gold mine"!
See you next year
Dear Sin Suoi Ho
Always follow me through the years
With your graceful figure!
Spring of the Year of the Dragon 2024
