Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee: Comments on draft directive on site clearance

On the morning of February 13, Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the 2nd Conference of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee to give opinions on many contents. Notably, the draft Directive on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of compensation and site clearance work, in order to effectively implement the Provincial Planning; promote investment attraction.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the 2nd Conference of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

The comments focused on requesting the drafting agency to emphasize three particularly important issues, which are: Compensation and site clearance work must ensure progress, procedures, and responsibilities; district-level Party committees and authorities are absolutely responsible for compensation and site clearance work; advisory agencies promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in compensation and site clearance work, clearly stipulate the time for resolution, and the necessity of issuing this directive.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung emphasized: Compensation for land acquisition and clearance is a particularly important task for the province to develop its economy and achieve double-digit growth. The Provincial Party Committee needs to be proactive in advising the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to resolutely lead and direct the implementation of this work. The advisory work must review documents, point out new things that have not been mentioned before; assess difficulties, obstacles, and contents beyond the authority to propose and recommend.

Comrade Dang Xuan Truong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, spoke at the Conference.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the key task of compensation and site clearance is to contribute to speeding up the progress of key projects, industrial zones and clusters of the province to improve the efficiency of attracting investment.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for being active and proactive in advising on concretizing Plan No. 21 of the Provincial People's Committee; assigned the leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to absorb the opinions at the Conference to complete the documents.
