Ensure safe and thoughtful reception for major events of the province

The 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage is a major event for the province. Coordinating the successful organization of the event, ensuring a safe and thoughtful reception of guests is a requirement for all levels, sectors and localities.

When she learned that the 10th Anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage would be held at Bai Dinh International Convention Center, Ms. Do Thi Xuan (Gia Sinh Commune, Gia Vien District) was very excited and proud. Although this was not the first time this place was chosen to host major events, nor was it the first time she was assigned to prepare, the Head of the Environmental Sanitation Team was still eager and looking forward to it.

Ms. Xuan shared: "Here 10 years ago, we were excited to attend the UNESCO Certificate Receiving Ceremony. 10 years have passed, although many things have changed, the pride of the people in Trang An remains the same as ever. To prepare for the upcoming Anniversary, these days, we mobilized all 50 members of the Environmental Sanitation Team of the Bai Dinh Mountain Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area, taking advantage of favorable weather to clean up the environment, arrange the campus, and create a green, clean, and beautiful landscape. Every day, the members of the team will collect garbage, clean up the campus in the tourist area and the gateway roads. Every week, we organize tree pruning, additional planting, and replacement of flowers and ornamental plants, ensuring that the campus is always solemn, fresh, and clean."

According to the Management Board of Bai Dinh Mountain Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area, as part of the series of activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, many activities will take place here such as: "Archaeological exhibition space on cultural values of the province and Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex and images of 9 World Heritage sites in Vietnam", scientific seminar "Vu Lam Palace in the process of formation and development of Truc Lam-Yen Tu Buddhist thought of Tran Nhan Tong and the historical and cultural values of the painting "Truc Lam Dai Si Xuat Son Do", most importantly the Anniversary Ceremony is expected to be held at the end of April 2024.

To ensure a thoughtful and safe reception of guests during the events, the Management Board has coordinated with relevant units and local authorities to develop a specific plan for organizing and welcoming guests; regularly review and propose plans and solutions to handle arising situations. In particular, absolute security and order, food safety are ensured. Fire extinguishers are fully prepared in many locations with high risk of fire and explosion. The electrical system is installed with automatic circuit breakers, which turn on when there is an incident. At the same time, promote activities to ensure environmental sanitation inside and outside the temple area, plan parking lots, etc.

The 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage (2014-2024) will be celebrated in Ninh Binh province with a series of unique activities to connect and spread from January 2024 to September 2024.

The focus is on the Anniversary Ceremony scheduled to take place at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024. This is the main event to honor the achievements and contributions of organizations and individuals in managing, preserving and promoting the values of the heritage. At the same time, it will spread the values of the heritage, inspire and energize the younger generation to be more proud of their homeland, country, and the historic land of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital.

Identifying this as a series of events of important significance, contributing to further promoting the heritage value, making Hoa Lu Ninh Binh a Millennium Heritage City, a city directly under the Central Government, on December 22, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 185/KH-UBND on organizing activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage (2014-2024) and Decision No. 24/QD-UBND dated January 12, 2024 on establishing the Organizing Committee for activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Up to this point, many events in the series of commemorative activities have been successfully organized such as: Old Tet Festival and gift market; press conference to announce the Plan to organize activities; discussion on developing heritage tourism products at the World Cultural and Natural Heritage Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.

This has created an impression and influence on the community, tourists, experts and researchers at home and abroad. The activity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage is an event of great significance for the province.

Although Ninh Binh has successfully organized and coordinated many major events, it should not be subjective or negligent. The proactive preparation of conditions by each individual, unit, agency, and organization will contribute to the overall success of the event. From there, it will preserve and further promote the values of the heritage, spreading the unique and exclusive values of Trang An to friends at home and abroad.
