Dak Nong spends more than 40 billion VND to upgrade Dak R'la road

Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen has just signed a decision approving the contractor selection plan for the Dak R'la - Long Son road upgrade project.

The project has 10 packages with a total value of nearly 38.6 billion VND. Of which, the construction package has the largest value, nearly 35.8 billion VND. The package will be organized to select contractors in the first quarter of 2025 and will have a 9-month implementation period.

Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Dak Mil District Project Management and Land Fund Development Board (investor) to organize the selection of contractors meeting the capacity according to the approved plan. The Department of Planning and Investment is responsible for the accuracy and legality of the appraisal and approval contents.

In the period of 2021 - 2025, Dak Mil district will invest in many large, highly connected transportation projects.

The Dak R'la - Long Son road is being renovated and upgraded with a total investment of 42 billion VND from the provincial budget. The entire route, 8.89km long, will be renovated and upgraded to the VI mountainous standards. The road is 6m wide, with a 3.5m road surface and 1.25m wide sidewalks on each side.

The renovation and upgrading of the route is expected to meet the travel and trade needs of the people and promote socio-economic development. The project to upgrade the current route will contribute to gradually completing the transportation system in Dak Mil district.
