AIPA 41 General Assembly and the mark of the Vietnamese National Assembly

In 2020, Vietnam assumed the role of AIPA Chair. In the context of the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Assembly adjusted and proposed to hold an online meeting of the 41st General Assembly of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (AIPA-41) from September 8 to 10, 2020, in Hanoi. The 41st AIPA General Assembly with the theme "Parliamentary Diplomacy for a Cohesive and Responsive ASEAN Community" was a great success and achieved many results. The success of this General Assembly contributed to affirming the capacity and enhancing the position of the Vietnamese National Assembly in the international arena.
