The 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tam Diep City

On May 29-30, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Diep city held the 11th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the Congress were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Diep province and city.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of the city and its member organizations have constantly innovated the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots level, completing and exceeding 5/5 targets set out in the Resolution of the 10th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of the city, term 2019-2024.

In particular, patriotic emulation campaigns and movements were deployed with focus and key points, associated with specific themes, strongly arousing the spirit of creative labor emulation among the people and the joint efforts of the whole community to participate in economic development, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

During the term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the city participated in the campaign to build 3,557 m of new roads; expand over 2,000 m of village and hamlet sidewalks; build and upgrade over 1,200 m of intra-field roads... People voluntarily donated over 10,000 m2 of residential land, garden land, architectural objects and contributed over 3,700 working days to build the projects.

The work of mobilizing to help poor households and social security activities has been directed and effectively implemented by Party committees, authorities and the Fatherland Front at all levels. The city has mobilized support for the "Repaying gratitude and social security" Fund with an amount of over 9 billion VND. Responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind", from 2019 to present, the whole city has mobilized and raised over 4.3 billion VND, supporting the construction and repair of 79 Great Solidarity houses worth over 3.6 billion VND...

The city's Fatherland Front and wards and communes have had many new and creative models and ways of doing things, promoting emulation movements such as: the model "Mobilizing religious people and people to practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals", the model "Mobilizing religious dignitaries and officials to join hands to support the construction of a warm house of solidarity between religions"...

The work of supervision, social criticism, and participation in Party and government building is increasingly effective. The great national unity and religious unity are constantly consolidated and promoted.

Speaking at the Congress, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the leaders of Tam Diep city congratulated the achievements in the past term and proposed that in the next term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Diep city continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, diversify forms of propaganda, strengthen and expand the great national unity bloc, strongly focus on the grassroots to deploy campaigns and patriotic emulation movements. Focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people. Continue to promote democracy, promote and improve the quality of social supervision and criticism, prevent corruption and waste. Actively participate in building a strong Party, government and political system; pay attention to developing Party members who are religious; strengthen consensus to create a combined strength, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security, building a rich and civilized Tam Diep.

The congress democratically elected 47 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Diep City, term XI, 2024-2029. At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, term 2024-2029, democratically elected the Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman and Standing Members. Ms. Ta Thi Pha, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, term X, was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Diep City, term XI.

The Congress also consulted to elect a delegation to attend the 12th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.
