Congress of Phu Tho Newspaper Youth Union for the term 2024-2027

On September 30, Phu Tho Newspaper Youth Union organized the Youth Union Congress for the 2024-2027 term to evaluate the results of the Youth Union and youth movement work for the 2022-2024 term, and set out directions and tasks for the 2024-2027 term.

Phu Tho Newspaper Youth Union currently has 26 members. During the past term, under the leadership, direction, attention and facilitation of the Party Committee, Editorial Board and Youth Union of provincial agencies, Phu Tho Newspaper Youth Union has successfully completed its tasks in all aspects of work, achieving the targets set out in the Resolution of the Congress for the term 2022-2024.

In professional activities, the Youth Union members in the Youth Union Branch have actively participated in the operation of the electronic newsroom; proactively followed the grassroots, promptly reflected political and social events and issues in localities in the province; actively researched and deployed quality articles. Every year, many Youth Union members have submitted works to competitions and won press awards at all levels, ministries, branches, and provincial press, and have been commended by the agency. During the term, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union Branch has also proactively monitored and introduced outstanding Youth Union members to the Party Committee for consideration, training, and admission to the Party.

In the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement, the Youth Union Executive Committee has promoted the implementation of volunteer movements, taking the initiative for the community and social security. Organizing a series of meaningful activities in the movement "Repaying gratitude" on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27. At the same time, organizing volunteer activities launched by the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Bloc every year such as: Winter - Spring volunteer, the movement "Youth of the Bloc join hands to build new countryside, civilized urban areas", the program "Helping children go to school", organizing volunteer activities to protect the environment...

Comrade Nguyen Tat Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Phu Tho Newspaper gave a speech directing the Congress.

In the 2024-2027 term, the Youth Union will strive to complete basic targets such as: 100% of young union members self-study, self-cultivation, and training according to the moral ideology of President Ho Chi Minh; strive for 100% of union members to be ranked from Good or higher, of which 40% are excellent, the Youth Union collective is strong; 100% complete professional tasks, 100% are advanced workers; 100% of young union members complete news and article norms, have weekly and monthly articles on the page, articles of praise, awards, and present beautiful issues...

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Youth Union for the 2024-2027 term, consisting of 3 comrades. With the initial successes of the Congress, the Executive Committee and the members of the Phu Tho Newspaper Youth Union will continue to promote the vanguard role of the youth, successfully complete all assigned tasks, and build the Youth Union increasingly stronger, worthy of being the core of the Party.
