Attending the program were comrades: Rah Lan Chung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Duong Mah Tiep - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also attending the program were the Standing Committee members of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Council committees, representatives of the People's Council working at provincial agencies, departments, branches and mass organizations; leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of provincial agencies, departments and branches; Standing Committees, cadres of District, Town and City Youth Unions, teachers working as Team Leaders and 200 outstanding children from 17 districts, towns and cities.
At the program, delegates watched a report on the results of child protection, care and education work in the province from 2024 to present.
Mr. Vu Tien Anh - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee briefly reported the results of handling children's opinions and recommendations after the program of contact and dialogue between the Provincial People's Council delegates and children of Gia Lai province in 2024. Specifically, in the past time, Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches and organizations in the province have always paid attention to prioritizing resources for the work of caring for, educating and protecting children to ensure better and better the rights of children in order to create conditions for children in the province to develop comprehensively in all aspects.
To implement policies, laws and tasks of children's work, the Provincial People's Committee has issued plans to implement programs, plans and projects issued by the Prime Minister, promptly issued documents directing the implementation of tasks on children's work in the province. Departments, branches, sectors and localities, based on the direction and guidance of central ministries, branches and the province and their functions and tasks, have proactively issued plans, documents directing and implementing tasks related to children's work.
The press agencies and grassroots information systems in the province have done a good job of informing, propagating, and disseminating policies and laws on child care, education and protection in the locality. Gia Lai Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station have actively improved the quality of content and duration of news, articles, and reports on specialized pages and columns to inform and propagate contents related to child work and child protection in cyberspace. Increased display on the provincial television channel of the hotline number of the National Child Protection Hotline 111 to receive reports of child abuse and contact addresses of centers and organizations for consultation and emergency relief. Departments, branches, sectors, and localities have increased propaganda, mobilization, and education in many diverse forms, creating a positive change in the awareness and responsibility of the whole society towards child work.
Children's recommendations at the program "Contact and dialogue between provincial People's Council delegates and children" of Gia Lai province in 2024 were listened to, accepted and answered by departments, branches and sectors within their authority; at the same time, based on their functions and tasks, many solutions and activities were implemented to solve problems for children in the province.

At the program, children participating in the program boldly expressed their thoughts and aspirations, and discussed with the provincial People's Council delegates about groups of issues: school violence, extra teaching, extra learning, life skills; cyberspace safety, management of internet and social network use; malnutrition rate in children in remote areas; child abuse and violence; prevention of smoking, buying and selling unsafe food in front of school gates; preserving traditional cultural identity; child marriage in ethnic minority areas...
