Highlights of the festival of summer activities in Tay Ho district

Reviewing key activities for children and adolescents in Tay Ho district in the summer of 2023, Vice Chairman of Tay Ho District People's Committee Bui Thi Lan Phuong - Head of the Steering Committee for Child Protection and Care in Tay Ho district emphasized: In the past time, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district together with socio-political organizations and People's Committees of wards have implemented many specific programs and plans to build a safe, friendly and healthy living environment, effectively implementing policies and laws on child care, education and protection. At the same time, proactively solving children's issues, preventing and minimizing the risks of child abuse, child accidents and injuries, especially drowning and traffic accidents, ensuring that children in Tay Ho district develop comprehensively.

During the month of action for children, Tay Ho district had 66 locations to organize the launching ceremony of summer activities in 2023, organized the awarding of 21,075 gifts with a total value of more than 848 million VND to children of near-poor households and children in difficult circumstances, and conducted training for 80 core children participating in the Children's Forum. Along with that, the district organized the contest "Children promote and introduce summer books" attracting students from 15/17 public primary and secondary schools to participate.

The Party Committee, People's Committee, departments, branches and organizations of 8 wards have also paid special attention to children through directing and implementing plans to organize summer activities for residential groups. 108 Front Committees and residential groups in the district have organized summer activities with many diverse, creative and rich forms, attracting 28,210 children to participate.

Within the framework of the Festival - Summary of summer activities of Tay Ho district on the evening of July 30, the final performances of the aerobics - zumba competition, the final performances of the young singers' song and group dancing took place excitingly and attractively.
