The city increases the number of participants and reduces late payments for social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance.
Accordingly, the City People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts to continue to seriously and effectively implement social insurance and health insurance in the city in the period of 2021-2025, ensuring the implementation of the set goals. At the same time, continue to innovate the content, form and methods of propaganda, ensuring that it is suitable to the characteristics and specific nature of each target group, associated with the development of participants in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, attracting the participation of farmers and informal workers.
The City People's Committee also requested member agencies of the Steering Committee for the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in the city to continue to promote initiative, enhance the role and responsibility of each agency in performing assigned tasks, fully reflect the opinions of their departments and branches on social insurance and health insurance work to advise the Steering Committee to promptly direct arising contents and problems, ensuring the goal of developing social insurance and health insurance in the city; strengthen connectivity, data sharing, and coordinate the provision of information to verify the operating status of enterprises in the city.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with the Social Insurance and relevant agencies and units to research and advise the City People's Committee to submit to the City People's Council for approval of a resolution on additional support mechanisms from the local budget for voluntary social insurance participants.
