Da Nang: Maximizing the city's potential and strengths

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), towards the 50th anniversary of the complete Liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on March 26, at Tien Son Sports Palace, Da Nang City, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held the opening ceremony of the Exhibition "Da Nang - Development and Integration."

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that 50 years is a journey, Da Nang city has overcome many difficulties and challenges, and developed strongly. From a small city, Da Nang has become one of the leading economic-cultural-social and tourism centers of Vietnam.

The exhibition is a panoramic picture of the journey of building and developing Da Nang city over the past 50 years, aiming to introduce the city's potential, strengths, achievements in socio-economy, national defense and security to the people, tourists, investment partners, domestic and foreign enterprises.

At the same time, the exhibition is an opportunity to promote Vietnamese brands, Da Nang brands, create stimulus in trade, tourism and investment promotion activities, helping to maximize the development potential of Da Nang city for the whole region and the whole country.

With a total area of ​​over 10,800m², the exhibition is designed into 3 key areas: one is the exhibition area on Party building and achievements in the city's socio-economic fields; which recreates the process of Party building, government building, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; introduces achievements in the fields of science-technology, industry-commerce, tourism, culture, information, sports, health, social security, agriculture-environmental resources, urban construction-infrastructure, education-training, sovereignty over seas and islands, foreign affairs and international integration.

Second, the National Defense Security Area displays military equipment and weapons related to the city's defense and security.

Third, the Business Introduction Area includes 130 typical booths, demonstrating the innovative spirit of the business community in the fields of science, high technology, industry, infrastructure, finance, tourism, services, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, etc.

Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi emphasized, "The exhibition "Da Nang - Development and Integration" is an opportunity to review the glorious tradition and be proud of the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of the city have created with strong will, intelligence, creativity and solidarity. This is also an opportunity to affirm the position of Da Nang city as the economic-cultural-social and tourism center in the Central Highlands region on the journey of development and international integration."

After the opening ceremony, delegates and a large number of people and tourists visited the exhibition booths.

The exhibition “Da Nang - Development and Integration” will take place until March 30./.
