Thanh Van Oc brought her 3 children (Coca born in 2011, Cola born in 2013 and Cacao born in 2015) to settle in Australia in December 2023. Her husband will stay in Vietnam to do business and take care of the house.

During her days in Australia, Oc Thanh Van tried to take on the roles of both mother and father in the house. The female artist did everything herself, from light cooking to repairs and disassembly that required men's strength. Once, the female MC had to drive about 50km alone to deliver goods.
In Australia, the artist bought a spacious house to live with her 3 children. The house has an area of 400 m2, including 2 floors, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, modern design and is close to a shopping center. During her time living abroad, Oc Thanh Van experienced periods of pressure and stress. She admitted that she faced many difficulties when she first settled down: "Of course, getting used to a new life and a new environment is not easy. Even though sometimes I feel very tired, I still have to encourage myself that I'm fine and I'm very happy."
The MC once confided that she likes an open life and accepts challenges, but still had to admit that "I've been very tired recently because I had to complete my motherhood". In particular, leaving a familiar country also caused certain difficulties because she often missed old things.
Taking her children abroad alone, Oc Thanh Van faced rumors of a broken marriage. At that time, she spoke up to confirm that the relationship between the couple was still passionate and happy. Due to the nature of her husband's work and her mother's need for someone to take care of her, the couple had to temporarily live apart.
"He still has to return to Vietnam to take care of everything at home, especially since my mother is old. We are very happy and in love." Oc Thanh Van explained that she feels lucky that her husband always encourages and supports her. Every month, he visits his wife and children for a few days and then returns home. During summer and winter breaks, Oc Thanh Van brings her children back to Vietnam to rest.

After 1 year in Australia, Oc Thanh Van decided to bring her children back to Vietnam from the beginning of 2025. The female artist said her family supported her decision.
Returning home, the three children went to study at an international school in Ho Chi Minh City. Oc Thanh Van began to return to artistic activities; participating in projects at Hong Van Drama Theater and entertainment events to both support her colleagues and satisfy her love for the profession.
