After 2 months of "vacancy" in the position of Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Minister of Health, has just signed a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Ha Anh Duc, PhD, physician, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Health and Chief of Office of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health to hold the position of Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management under the Ministry of Health.

This decision takes effect from the date of signing, the term of appointment is 5 years.

Thus, currently, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management has one director, Mr. Ha Anh Duc, and three deputy directors, Mr. Nguyen Trong Khoa, Mr. Vuong Anh Duong and Mr. Duong Huy Luong.

Mr. Ha Anh Duc is also the president of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association.

Mr. Duc was born in 1973, from Hai Phong, graduated with a major in general medicine from Hanoi Medical University; has a foreign language degree from the University of Foreign Languages ​​- Hanoi National University; major in international business administration from the National Economics University.

He also holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health, USA (2004); a PhD in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health, USA (2010).

He has held many positions at the Ministry of Health and received many awards such as Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, Minister of Health,...

Previously, the Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Mr. Luong Ngoc Khue, resigned from his position and retired according to regulations.

The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management is a specialized management department under the Ministry of Health, performing the function of advising and assisting the Minister of Health in state management.

Organize the implementation of legal regulations in the fields of: medical examination, treatment, rehabilitation; medical examination, forensic examination, forensic psychiatric examination; develop and improve the capacity and quality of the medical examination and treatment system nationwide.

On the same day, the Council of Hanoi Medical University also passed a resolution appointing Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Tung (born in 1973), head of the Department of Physiology, head of the Department of University Training Management, and Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Thi Kim Thanh (born in 1974), head of the Department of Family Medicine, as Vice Rector of Hanoi Medical University.
