On the morning of November 14, at the People's Committee of Hoa Lac commune, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council elected in Duc Tho had a meeting with voters of 8 communes and towns: Hoa Lac, Duc Dong, Duc Lang, Tan Dan, Tung Anh, An Dung, Tan Huong and Duc Tho town.

Participating in expressing opinions, voters requested the Provincial People's Council and Duc Tho District People's Committee to soon supplement the budget for repairing and upgrading degraded traffic routes; focus on removing obstacles in considering procedures for granting land use right certificates to households that were granted land without authority before the prescribed time limit according to the Land Law; consider the subsidy level for deputy village heads and heads of the association of the elderly according to Decree 33/2023/ND-CP; provide timely guidance and support for livestock households suffering losses due to African swine fever and lumpy skin disease in buffaloes and cows.

Voter Tran Tinh - Duc Dong commune: Request the province to soon provide funding to support livestock households whose livestock died due to lumpy skin disease in cattle and buffaloes and African swine fever.

Voters also requested provincial and district leaders to direct construction units, contractors and functional forces to strictly control the load of vehicles carrying materials for the construction of the North-South expressway project to ensure infrastructure of traffic routes and traffic safety in the area.

Voter Phan Duc Tho - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Duc Giang commune hopes that all levels will pay attention to building embankments on the Ngan Sau riverbank through the commune so that people can live and produce in peace.

At the meeting, voter Vu Quang reported that for many years, the banks of the Ngan Sau River flowing through Duc Lien and Duc Giang communes have been eroded, seriously affecting the lives of hundreds of households. The erosion has not been remedied, threatening many areas of production land, garden land, and houses of people living along the river. Therefore, all levels need to pay attention to investing in embankments so that people can live and produce in peace.

Voters also requested that all levels continue to have policies to implement land accumulation; direct contractors to focus on constructing houses supported by the Ministry of Public Security so that households can soon put them into use.

Voter Phan Van Hoa - Vice Chairman of An Phu Commune People's Committee proposed content related to infrastructure in the area.

Some voters reported that the An Phu - Cua Rao route has been upgraded, creating favorable conditions for local people and neighboring areas to travel and trade. However, the Hoi Hien bridge on the route has been degraded and narrow, hindering people's travel. Therefore, we hope that the Provincial People's Council will soon find a solution to expand it.
