(Dan Tri) - A couple living in Pennsylvania (USA) divorced nearly 50 years ago and are planning to remarry this month.
Fay Gable (89 years old) and Robert Wenrich (94 years old) first met through a family matchmaker. Mr. Wenrich was a close friend of Ms. Gable's brother. At that time, he said that "one day he would marry Gable".
The couple married in November 1951, had four children, and went through many ups and downs in life together. In 1975, they decided to divorce but did not disclose the reason. They both "remarried" afterwards, but their partners gradually passed away due to illness and old age.
Family members said that throughout their separation, Ms. Gable and Mr. Wenrich had a good relationship and often attended family events together. Recently, they decided "it was time to deepen their relationship."
"She was my first love. I never thought I would have her again. And now that I have, I don't waste any more time," Mr. Robert shared.

Having just turned 94, the old man said "time is running out" and "doesn't want to miss each other again".
They plan to hold their second wedding in Denver in mid-December, after Mr. Wenrich's proposal was accepted by Ms. Gable.
The wedding will be small and intimate with close family members, including 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The guests will be witnesses to the grandparents' life story over many decades.
Mrs. Gable's two children from her second husband also attended this important ceremony.
Talking about the new start in married life at a "rare" age, Mr. Robert confided: "I think we will be very good and happy for the next few years."
The planner for the big day was Carol Smith, the couple's youngest daughter, who has seen her parents see each other more often over the years.
"They're like two teenagers in love and do everything together," she said.
Smith and her siblings planned to have hydrangeas and white roses for the wedding, Gable's favorite flowers. The wedding dress was a minimalist design in white.
"This dress is much more beautiful than the one my mother wore to her first wedding 73 years ago. The old wedding dress is still carefully kept in the closet by my mother," Smith said.
