(CLO) The two films shown in the Film Series celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding at the National Cinema Center are "Hong Ha Nu Si" and "Finding Childhood Through Folk Games".
On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi) organized a special film screening to honor the cultural and historical values of the nation.
The screening will take place from February 8 to February 11 at the National Cinema Center. Audiences can receive free tickets at the Center from February 3.
Two films selected for screening in this Film Series include the feature film “Hong Ha Nu Si” and the documentary “Finding Childhood Through Folk Games”.
The feature film “Hong Ha Nu Si” produced by Hong Ngát film (director Nguyen Duc Viet; scriptwriter-producer Nguyen Thi Hong Ngát) revolves around the ups and downs of the life of female poet Doan Thi Diem - a talented and beautiful woman whose life was full of ups and downs, and she passed away when she was just over 40 years old.
The film not only depicts the ups and downs and events in her life, but also revives the story of her friendship with the famous scholar Dang Tran Con, author of the masterpiece "Chinh Phu Ngam".
The film also reflects the historical context of the Le Dynasty, Trinh Lords and the social changes that affected the lives of the contemporary intellectual class.
With a duration of more than 100 minutes, a slow and meticulous pace, and careful investment in setting and costumes, "Hong Ha Nu Si" attracts the interest and attention of the audience.
Documentary "Finding Childhood Through Folk Games" produced by Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio, 30 minutes long.
The film by director Meritorious Artist Hoang Dung brings a fresh perspective on the cultural value of folk games - a part of the childhood memories of many generations of Vietnamese people.
The film conveys a profound message about preserving and reviving traditional cultural beauty through simple games that contain the spirit of community cohesion. When these values are preserved and continued, national culture will always exist in modern life.
Previously, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 97/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing a Film Series to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025.
The films selected for screening in the Film Series include: Feature film "Hong Ha nu si"; documentary film "Khang A Hu, a cadre of Che Cu Nha commune" and "Finding childhood through folk games"; animated film "The swallow returns" and "Miracle medicine" produced by Vietnam Animation Studio Joint Stock Company.
