Workers excited to return to the capital after Tet holiday

Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of February 3 (the 6th day of Tet), a working delegation of the Hanoi City Labor Federation (HLF) led by Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh inspected and grasped the labor situation after the Lunar New Year holiday at the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zone.


According to a representative of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd., in 2024, the company will increase the average salary for employees by 7%; the average bonus for employees is 2 months' salary.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the company organized a Tet program for employees at 2 factories and branches nationwide with activities such as: art competitions between departments; organizing collective games; activities to display and test-drive large-displacement motorcycles manufactured by Yamaha for employees; lucky draw with big prizes such as 3 Yamaha motorbikes, 500 shopping cards at Yamaha product showrooms...

In addition, the company's Trade Union organized visits, encouragement, and gifts for the company's employees in difficult circumstances with a total amount of nearly 300 million VND; organized about 50 trips, bringing about 1,300 employees and their relatives back to their hometowns in Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Ha Tinh... to celebrate Tet and pick them up at the factory to go to work.

On the first day back to work, more than 4,000 workers returned to work with excitement after a safe and warm Tet holiday.

Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh expressed his joy when learning that more than 4,000 workers of the company had a safe and warm Tet holiday and returned to work with excitement on the first day of work.

Recognizing and appreciating the achievements of enterprises contributing to the overall economic development of the capital and the country; at the same time creating jobs and stable income for workers, the Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation wished the enterprises a Happy New Year with the hope that in 2025 the enterprises will achieve many results in production and business, continuing to take good care of union members and workers.

Visiting workers at the production line, the Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation asked about, encouraged and expressed his wish that each worker would make efforts to contribute to the enterprise from the first days of the year to achieve the goal of having a better income.

Chairman of the City Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh requested the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union and the grassroots Trade Unions to continue to closely coordinate with enterprises to proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers to promptly advise and report to the Party Committee and authorities, determined not to let strikes and work stoppages occur; to innovate Trade Union activities towards more substance, focusing on the core activities of the Trade Union which are to represent, care for, and protect workers' legitimate rights and interests.
