On the evening of November 23, a representative of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police informed that the South Saigon Traffic Police team handed over a lost boy to the Tan Phong Ward Police (District 7) to continue searching for the boy's relatives.
Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police announced to find relatives for lost mute boy.
Accordingly, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, a working group of the South Saigon Traffic Police Team was on patrol duty on Nguyen Van Linh Street when they discovered a child about 8 years old walking along the corrugated iron wall of the Nguyen Van Linh tunnel construction area.
Seeing unusual signs, the working group immediately approached, took the child out of the dangerous area, and asked for information about the child's family. However, when contacting the child, the working group discovered that the child could not hear or speak, so it was impossible to identify relatives or home address.
Regarding the above incident, the officers of the South Saigon Traffic Police Team contacted the Tan Phong Ward Police and brought the child to the Ward Police headquarters to coordinate in searching for information about the child's family.
Currently, the Traffic Police force is continuing to coordinate with Tan Phong Ward Police (District 7) to search for information about the boy's relatives.
Previously, Binh Chanh District Police (HCMC) also handed over two children who had been missing for many days to their relatives.
According to initial information, on the morning of September 30, the family of Ms. Nhung (30 years old, residing in Le Minh Xuan commune, Binh Chanh district) went to the police station to report that her son named Ty (nickname at home, 9 years old) and a girl named Lung (nickname at home, 5 years old, Ms. Nhung's niece) had lost contact while playing near their house. After many days of searching, the family still had no trace of the two children.
