A commitment letter shows that Ms. Hien received tour deposits from citizens.

Previously, on November 25, 2024, Dai Doan Ket newspaper published an article reflecting on the fact that many citizens had filed a complaint against the illegal behavior of Ms. Phung Thi Hien - Director of Tom Tourism Company to the relevant authorities.

Typically, Mr. Nguyen Viet Kham (residing in Do Dong commune, Thanh Oai district, Hanoi) said that around the beginning of 2024, through an acquaintance, Mr. Kham got to know Ms. Phung Thi Hien - Director of Tom Tourism Company.

During the meeting, Mr. Kham discussed with Ms. Hien his desire to work in Australia and Ms. Hien promised to support him in doing so. Accordingly, Ms. Hien will process all documents, visas, and passports to ensure Mr. Kham can enter Australia as a tourist. Mr. Kham must pay Ms. Hien's company 284 million VND.

According to Mr. Kham, after receiving the deposit, Ms. Hien continuously informed him of changes to his departure flight schedule to Australia. The original schedule was to fly to Hong Kong (China) and then move to Australia. However, Ms. Hien and the Company did not follow the agreement and took Mr. Kham to Thailand and then to Ho Chi Minh City. Then, they continued to take Mr. Kham to the Cambodian border by road to Hong Kong (China).

To gain Mr. Kham's trust, before leaving for Australia, Ms. Hien signed a commitment to fly on schedule and to enter Australia before September 30, 2024. In case the schedule is not met, the Company will refund 100% of the money received from Mr. Kham. However, Ms. Hien repeatedly promised the flight time and schedule but continuously changed the flight schedule despite the commitment. Up to now, Mr. Kham has not been able to fly to Australia.

“On September 6, 2024, they took me to Cambodia for the second time by road through Moc Bai border gate (Tay Ninh). At that time, I asked Ms. Hien to let me check my visa but Ms. Hien refused. Ms. Hien's attitude made me suspicious and afraid that they might trick me into selling me to bad people, so I did not agree to go anymore and decided to return. After that, I met Ms. Hien to inform her that I would not go to Australia anymore and asked to return all the money I had received, but Ms. Hien did not pay the money she had received,” Mr. Kham reflected.

Similarly, Mr. and Mrs. Pham The Cuong, Doan Quang Linh, and Ta Thi Chang (all residing in Do Dong commune, Thanh Oai district, Hanoi) also filed a complaint against Ms. Phung Thi Hien - Director of Tom Tourism Company, for receiving money and promising to travel to Australia and Canada as tourists, but then did not fulfill their promise and did not return the money to the citizens.
