Anh Khue shared that she was lucky to be born into a family with parents who always supported all her wishes and interests in her academic path. “Before, I didn’t know what my strengths were or what field I was suitable for. There was a time when I really liked studying design, my parents also created conditions for me to study drawing, but then I realized I didn’t have the ability so I gave up. After that, my father oriented me to study medicine but I was very afraid of blood,” Anh Khue said. After a period of hesitation, Anh Khue decided to apply to the economic law program of the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City. And after 4 years of effort, Anh Khue completed her bachelor’s program with an excellent degree. Because she realized the suitability and love for this field of study, she continued to register for a master’s degree. “Nowadays, most people have a bachelor’s degree, so I want to continue studying to gain more knowledge. Besides, during my time working, I noticed that my colleagues, even though they were very good and had a lot of experience, still continued to study. Currently working in a multinational company, Anh Khue realizes that soft skills are really important. “Before, I was introverted, shy and rarely interacted with anyone. But since going to university, the environment has changed and there are many opportunities to express myself, I have learned many more things. The biggest success that makes me proud of myself during my university years is not my academic results but the skills I have practiced and cultivated,” Anh Khue expressed. As a student, Anh Khue cultivated soft skills by actively participating in activities, competitions and volunteer programs. In particular, she and some other students founded a club to interact with international students. Sharing about the necessary skills when wanting to work in multinational companies, Anh Khue said: "To work in multinational companies, there are 3 skills that need to be well equipped for yourself. First is English, because all communication is in a foreign language. Second, always have a positive attitude and proactive spirit when communicating and working, this is one of the KPI evaluation criteria of large enterprises. Third, carefulness and comprehensiveness; because the output quality is the face and important factor that affects the reputation of large enterprises, so it is necessary to be careful to produce the most complete product. In addition, when working, it is also necessary to pay attention to the culture of the company and foreign colleagues".Mr. Khue possesses many elements of a young global citizen.
