Speaking to Thanh Nien Newspaper reporters, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance said that up to this point, the school is coordinating with the authorities to determine the violations of student PNQ , the school's 2019 student beauty queen, who beat people in a clip that recently went viral on social media.

"After having sufficient grounds to determine and conclude violations such as the clip, the school will rely on the conclusion of the authorities to discipline students according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training in Circular No. 10 of 2016 with appropriate levels," the school representative informed.

According to Circular No. 10 of the Ministry of Education and Training promulgating regulations on student affairs for full-time university training programs, students who fight, organize or participate in organizing fights for the first time will be warned, the second time will be suspended from school for a period of time and the third time will be forced to leave school. If serious, it will be handed over to the competent authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.

Regarding the Miss UEF title that PNQ student received, according to this representative, if the student violates ethical factors or the law, the school will revoke the title.

Previously, on November 19, a clip went viral online, recording a scene of a girl and a young man grabbing the hair, dragging, punching and kicking another girl repeatedly in the head, stomach, and back in an elevator in an apartment building in Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. While beating her, the girl said: "Do you know that my brother is a lawyer? I'll send you to hell now!"

The girl who beat the man was identified as Miss PNQ (Miss UEF 2019), a student of economic law class 18 of the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City. This female student is currently in the process of completing her graduation.
