The girl specializes in sneaking into weddings to steal wedding money.

On October 27, Dan Phuong District Police (Hanoi City) are temporarily detaining Hoang Khanh Linh (20 years old, local resident) to investigate the act of property theft.

According to authorities, at noon on October 25, Linh was caught red-handed stealing wedding money at a wedding in Lien Trung commune, Dan Phuong district. The 20-year-old girl took advantage of the time when the bride was being picked up to sneak up to the second floor to steal 51 wedding envelopes, totaling more than 19 million VND.

At the investigation headquarters, Linh confessed that in addition to the above incident, she also committed many other crimes with similar tricks.

Specifically, on September 24, Linh forced open a wooden box containing wedding gifts at the wedding of Ms. NTV's daughter (in Ha Mo commune) to steal. On the same day, Linh "stole" 135 wedding gift envelopes at the wedding of Ms. D.T.D.'s daughter (in Tan Hoi commune).

In addition, authorities determined that Linh also stole at a wedding in Thuong Mo commune on October 3 and Thach My Loc commune (Phuc Tho district, Hanoi) on October 24.

To commit the crime, Linh pretended to be an invited guest, dressed up, and rode a luxury motorbike to the wedding. Then, the girl took advantage of the family's wedding reception to steal.

The total amount of wedding money that the girl stole was about 200 million VND.
