The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province requested relevant departments, branches and sectors to study the proposal of Nghi Xuan district, advise the province on solutions to plan and expand a number of projects and relic sites in the district.

Gia Lach Industrial Park was established in 2010, located in Xuan An town, next to National Highway 8B, near National Highway 1A. According to the plan, this is an industrial park oriented to develop industries such as electronics, animal feed processing industry, forestry products, seafood, garment, electrical assembly and manufacturing, food packaging and processing, consumer goods.
To develop the industrial park, Nghi Xuan district proposed the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to build auxiliary items of the industrial park; speed up the implementation of investment projects to build industrial park infrastructure to attract investment.

Xuan Thanh tourist area currently has many projects that have been approved for investment, however due to some problems they have not yet been implemented.
Therefore, Nghi Xuan District People's Committee proposed that the Provincial People's Committee soon direct departments, branches and sectors to remove obstacles for projects; at the same time, propose that the province not allocate land in the area outside the freshwater creek of the tourist area to investors who have been approved for investment policy and allow the District People's Committee to plan the landscape outside the creek.

Nghi Xuan district also proposed that the province assign the district People's Committee to invest in completing the infrastructure and retain and organize auctions of all resettlement land lots for the Lam River right dike project and the Ben Thuy II bridge construction project (Xuan An town resettlement area).

Cho Cui Temple (Xuan Hong Commune) is a national historical and cultural relic, a spiritual destination that attracts a large number of visitors from all over the country to worship. Recently, Nghi Xuan District has put into use a parking lot with an area of over 12,000 m2 with a capacity of nearly 200 cars. Nghi Xuan District People's Committee proposed to continue investing in completing infrastructure to serve tourists.

Nguyen Cong Tru relic site (Xuan Giang commune) has been a national historical and cultural relic since 1991, including a temple and a mausoleum. Currently, the relic site is preserving many tangible and intangible cultural heritages. In order to plan the relic site to be commensurate with its scale and meet the development needs of the locality, the District People's Committee proposed to invest in renovating and expanding the relic site.
Inspecting the actual projects and relic sites, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai requested relevant departments, branches and sectors to study the district's proposals, advise the Provincial People's Committee on specific solutions and plans, and create favorable conditions for the locality in the process of socio-economic development. In particular, continuing to invest in infrastructure, increasing the attraction of investment projects in Gia Lach Industrial Park; studying and developing a master plan for the Cho Cui Temple Relic Site in a strategic, long-term and worthy direction. Regarding projects in Xuan Thanh Tourist Area, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: it is necessary to plan the tourist area comprehensively and systematically, avoiding fragmentation; resolutely withdraw ineffective projects. |
