In the tailor shop on Tran Hung Dao street, certificates of merit, medals and trophies are hung all over the house. All are the achievements of tailor Thuy Phuong.
" My wife started competing in amateur competitions 2-3 years ago. At first, she competed in Hoa Binh, Sam Son, Cua Lo, Quang Nam, etc. There were many competitions but she was always in the top 10. Having participated in cycling for nearly 30 years, Mr. Son does not compete but only considers this a passion movement. Seeing his wife's athleticism, he devoted himself to training her so that he could retire and fulfill his duties as the economic pillar of the family.
" Coming to this sport, I am truly a coach for my wife, guiding her to this day, working and practicing together every day. I am her husband, coach, and life partner." Mr. Son said he started cycling in 1994, and now has 30 years of experience in this grassroots sport.
