Official adjustment of university and college tuition fees

Accordingly, Decree 97 amends Clause 3, Article 9: tuition fees from the 2023-2024 school year, for educational institutions that have not yet ensured regular expenditures, the tuition fee level from the 2023-2024 school year will be kept stable at the same level as the tuition fee level of the 2021-2022 school year issued by the Provincial People's Council and applied locally.

Decree 97 adjusts university and college tuition fees

For educational institutions that self-insure regular expenses, educational institutions that self-insure regular expenses and investment expenses: educational institutions establish tuition fees based on economic-technical norms and cost norms, and submit them to the People's Committee for consideration and approval by the Provincial People's Council.

In addition, the decree also amends and supplements Article 10, Clause 1 with the level Tuition ceiling for college and intermediate level training programs at public vocational training institutions that are not self-sufficient in regular and investment expenses.

Specifically, the adjustment levels of training groups and occupations for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years of Decree 97 compared to Decree 81 are equivalent.
