Share and promote scientific research on genes

This is the first time a scientific conference on genes has been held in Vietnam and the second time in Southeast Asia.

The event, which runs until April 16, includes presentations from leading genetic scientists, in-depth workshops, and an exhibition showcasing PacBio's latest sequencing technology.

PRISM 2025 aims to create opportunities for Vietnamese scientists and researchers to interact with international experts; participate in discussions led by pioneers in the field of genomics; participate in practical workshops, listen to stories about breakthrough projects. At the same time, build relationships to promote new discoveries in the field of genomics in the region.

In addition, PacBio representative also shared upcoming strategic steps in the Vietnamese market.

Vietnam is thriving in genomics with an impressive growth rate of 21-22% CAGR (2019-2023). PacBio has supported Vietnamese research institutes in addressing regional challenges such as infectious diseases and sustainable agriculture.

With its development orientation, expanding infrastructure and government support for biotechnology, Vietnam is an ideal place to bring together diverse perspectives from the Asia-Pacific region, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange and scientific development.

Vietnam is known to be the starting point for this series of large-scale events. The next events will be held in Athens, Greece; San Francisco (USA) and Boston (USA).
