Accordingly, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien will resign from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom - stock code FOX) and move to the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT University.

The person replacing Mr. Hoang Nam Tien as Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Telecom for the 2023 - 2028 term is General Director Hoang Viet Anh. Mr. Viet Anh was born in 1975, with professional qualifications of Information Technology Engineer and Master of Business Administration.

Mr. Viet Anh joined FPT in 1993 and held many important positions in the company. He was the General Director of FPT Software and was appointed General Director of FPT Telecom in March 2018.

In 2007, he was one of 10 outstanding faces to receive the Golden Globe Award for Information Technology organized by the Central Youth Union and the Ministry of Science and Technology, thanks to his efforts to bring the image of Vietnamese IT to the world. At that time, Mr. Viet Anh was the Director of the Asia-Pacific branch in Singapore, belonging to FPT Software Company.

In 2018, he was appointed Deputy General Director of FPT Corporation and has held the position until now.

Holding important positions in FPT Corporation, Mr. Hoang Anh's income is "desirable". According to published information, in 2022, FOX spent 2.4 billion VND on CEO Hoang Viet Anh, an increase of more than 158 million VND compared to 2021.

Although 2023 is forecasted to be a difficult year for business as recession occurs worldwide, FPT Telecom continues to set a double-digit growth target, specifically the revenue target is VND 16,730 billion, up 13.6% compared to 2022 (of which revenue from telecommunications services is VND 15,800 billion, up 13.1% and revenue from digital content services is VND 940 billion, up 22.8%). The Company's pre-tax profit plan is VND 3,230 billion, up 14.6% compared to 2022.
