" At the party after the end of the 2023 First Division tournament, the team leaders reported that there was more than 10 million VND in bonuses in their accounts, but now when I read the newspaper, I see that they said it was only more than 90 million VND ," the Binh Thuan player shared.

Regarding food expenses, Binh Thuan Club players are entitled to a regular training allowance of 240,000 VND/person/day according to State regulations and 320,000 VND/person/day for tournaments. These amounts are paid into the personal accounts of each coach and athlete.

The Binh Thuan Province Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center said it had repeatedly explained to the team members about this payment. Binh Thuan players confirmed that they had received the above amounts. However, this person was not satisfied with the specific allocation of the amounts at the rate of 320,000 VND or 240,000 VND. The group of 18 players who made the accusation said that the rate of 320,000 VND/person/day should be applied throughout the 2023 season.

Binh Thuan players said: " We received money directly into our accounts and then paid for our meals to the kitchen. However, we were not satisfied with the meal allowance. During the competition season, the meal allowance for all days was supposed to be 320,000 VND. However, during the tournament, we only received that amount 2-3 days before the match. After the match, the amount returned to the standard of 240,000 VND. The players had many opinions and fought over this issue. The team transferred the full amount in a short time and then the same situation happened again ."

After receiving information that 18 players had their bonuses and food money cut, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province investigated and reported to the Provincial People's Committee. According to the complaint, Mr. Le Ba Hung - Director of the Binh Thuan Provincial Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center did not pay bonuses for the entire season to the team. In addition, the food money for the tournament was continuously cut, given when they wanted, and cut when they didn't want. In the report sent to the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan explained the contents of the report.
