Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on February 6, Regal Group Joint Stock Company (formerly Dat Xanh Mien Trung) - the distributor of the Dragon City Park green urban area project (Lien Chieu, Da Nang) - said it is still cooperating with Saigon - Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company, the project owner, and relevant agencies to promote legal procedures to issue certificates to customers.
"We are very active in promoting legal progress. Currently, we are waiting for the Government's decision to remove obstacles, only then can we issue red books to customers" - said a representative of Regal Group.
Dragon City Park is one of the major real estate projects that stirred up the market in Da Nang many years ago.
This project was approved by Da Nang City for detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 with an area of 78.3 hectares in 2011.
By 2019, Da Nang adjusted the planning, reducing the area by 8.4 hectares to make a resettlement area (the project area is now 698,714m²).
From around 2017-2018, Dat Xanh Mien Trung (now Regal Group) distributed land lots to investors.
However, after many promises, up to now about 1,000 customers (out of a total of about 2,000 plots of land) have not received red books.
Land buyers have formed associations and groups to appeal to the authorities. Several times, Dat Xanh Mien Trung customers sought out the Government Inspectorate headquarters to ask for help.
In the latest document, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang said that the Dragon City Park project encountered problems with land allocation procedures, land price regulations...
Currently, Da Nang City and relevant agencies are waiting for the Government's opinion to come up with a solution to the customer's request for red books.
