The People's Committee of Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai) has just issued a notice prohibiting cars from crossing Hoa An Bridge (also known as New Bridge) on the night of February 9 (the 30th day of the Lunar New Year 2024) to ensure safety and serve the New Year's Eve fireworks display.
Accordingly, from 10 p.m. on February 9, cars from all directions will be banned from crossing the bridge; from 11 p.m., all vehicles from all directions, including pedestrians, will be banned from crossing the bridge.
Bien Hoa City People's Committee also proposed an alternative route as follows: cars going from Thu Duc City, Binh Duong to the center of Bien Hoa City can follow the route Nguyen Ai Quoc - Nguyen Thi Ton - Dang Van Tron or Nguyen Ai Quoc - Nguyen Tri Phuong - Dang Van Tron.
From the center of Bien Hoa City to Thu Duc City, Binh Duong, you can follow the route Nguyen Ai Quoc - Phan Dinh Phung - Hung Dao Vuong - Ha Huy Giap - Dang Van Tron - Nguyen Tri Phuong (or Nguyen Thi Ton) Nguyen Ai Quoc (Cau Hang roundabout).
Previously, according to the plan to organize fireworks on New Year's Eve on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024 issued by the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, the shooting location will be held at the stadiums of 3 localities including Bien Hoa City, Long Khanh City and Xuan Loc District.
For Bien Hoa City, after research and survey, the leaders of Bien Hoa City People's Committee sent a document to Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, proposing to set off fireworks on New Year's Eve at Hoa An Bridge and received the approval of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the leader of Bien Hoa City People's Committee, fireworks display at Hoa An Bridge will ensure some criteria such as safety, space and wide open space to help people watch fireworks more easily. Fireworks display on the river, the underwater effect will contribute to making the performance more sparkling.
