TPO - Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Thuan will organize fireworks displays, Ba Ria - Vung Tau will perform lion and dragon dances, screen outdoor movies, and Binh Duong will organize a water music night to celebrate April 30.
HCMC: 5 fireworks display locations
On the occasion of April 30 this year, Ho Chi Minh City organized 5 fireworks display locations. Of which, the high-altitude display took place at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city) with 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks and 10 pyrotechnic displays.

4 low-altitude shooting locations include: Thao Dien Villa Area (Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City) - shooting on barges; Van Phuc Urban Area (Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City); Lot N4-D6 Tay Bac Industrial Park (Tan An Hoi Commune, Cu Chi District); Dam Sen Cultural Park (Ward 3, District 11). Fireworks will be displayed from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on April 30.
Binh Thuan: Low-altitude fireworks display at NovaWorld Phan Thiet sea square
Binh Thuan province will organize a low-altitude fireworks display at NovaWorld Phan Thiet sea square (Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city) at 9:00 p.m. on April 30. The duration will not exceed 15 minutes, with 90 low-altitude displays. The fireworks display will be funded by social resources, not using the state budget.

Also in Phan Thiet, this year's April 30th holiday will see the Carnival festival. The highlight of the festival is the Brazilian-style Carnival performance with the participation of a band and hundreds of artists and dancers.
At the same time, Binh Thuan will organize the Phu Quy sup rowing festival in 2024 at Hon Den beach on May 3. Athletes will compete in 3 events, including men's singles, women's singles, and mixed doubles.
In Phan Thiet city, a kite flying festival will take place on April 28. Tuy Phong district will increase the number of high-speed boats to take tourists to Cu Lao Cau island to visit Ba Khom moss beach.
What to do in Ba Ria - Vung Tau?
In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, this year's holiday will have 18 events held in 5 districts and cities, including Vung Tau, Long Dien, Dat Do, Xuyen Moc and Con Dao.
The highlight of which is the program "Vung Tau coastal city festival". The festival will display the province's unique handicrafts, exhibition of images of Vung Tau past and present, lion and dragon dance performances, camping and outdoor film screenings.

Binh Duong holds large-scale, multi-day water music show on Saigon River
For the first time, Binh Duong province organized a large-scale water music performance in a series of activities to celebrate the April 30 - May 1 holidays.
Accordingly, the artistic water music performance on the Saigon River (through the Bach Dang walking street area) was opened on the evening of April 27 and will last until May 5 (performance time from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) with each performance lasting 60 minutes.
Also in this area, Binh Duong organizes the Traditional Boat Racing Tournament (expanded) in 2024. There are 9 teams with more than 100 athletes from districts, towns and cities in the province competing in 2 events of 500m and 2,000m.
