Intersections on Dien Chau highway

On March 26, Giao thong Newspaper reporters were present at the Dien Chau - Bai Vot Expressway Construction Investment Component Project from the beginning of the route (intersection with National Highway 7A) to the intersection with National Highway 46B.

The QL7A intersection (in Dien Cat commune, Dien Chau district) is the starting point of the project.

According to records, thousands of workers and machines are racing against time to bring this route to the finish line by April 30 as directed by the Prime Minister.

Along with speeding up the construction of the main route, contractors also mobilized human resources and machinery to complete sub-items, traffic safety systems, service roads, and intersections to be able to serve people as soon as the route opens to traffic.

According to the design, the Dien Chau – Bai Vot expressway project has a total length of 49.3km, including 4 interchanges. Of which, the section passing through Nghe An province (44.4km) has 3, and Ha Tinh province (4.9km) has 1 interchange which is the end point of the project.

QL7C intersection (in Nghi Dong commune, Nghi Loc district)

The first on-off switch is the starting point of the project, intersecting with National Highway 7A (the end point of the Nghi Son - Dien Chau project that was put into operation before, located in Dien Cat commune, Dien Chau district).

At this intersection, people following National Highway 7A to the east will reach the administrative center of Dien Chau district, Nghe An province.

In addition, people can also go to Tho Loc industrial park; tourist beaches such as Dien Thanh, Cua Hien, Bai Lu...

On the contrary, following National Highway 7A to the west will reach the districts of Yen Thanh, Do Luong, Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son and can go to Laos through the Nam Can international border gate in Ky Son district.

QL46B intersection (in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district) going down to Vinh city and to Uncle Ho's hometown (Nam Dan)

The next on-off switch intersects with QL7C (road N5, located in Nghi Dong commune, Nghi Loc district).

At this intersection, people following National Highway 7C to the east will reach the administrative center of Nghi Loc district; industrial parks: WHA, Nam Cam; or Vissai Nghi Thiet international deep-water port; DKC petroleum depot and port.

To the west, it will be Do Luong, Tan Ky and western districts of Nghe An.

The on-off switch passing through Nghe An province intersects with National Highway 46B (in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district).

This intersection is located right in VSIP industrial park. Going east a bit further will lead to Vinh city and the headquarters of Nghe An province's government agencies. In addition, you can follow National Highway 46A to the port and Cua Lo beach.

3 interchanges on and off the Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway project, section through Nghe An province

If you go west, you will reach President Ho Chi Minh's hometown (Nam Dan district) and Thanh Chuong district. From there, go to Thanh Thuy Border Gate (Thanh Chuong district) or you can follow Ho Chi Minh road to Ha Tinh, go south, to Cau Treo International Border Gate (Huong Son district, Ha Tinh).

The Dien Chau - Bai Vot section project has a total length of 49.3km, passing through 2 provinces: Nghe An (44.4km), Ha Tinh (4.9km), with a total investment of 11,157 billion VND; construction started on May 22, 2021.

The project is implemented in the form of PPP, by a consortium of investors: Hoa Hiep Company Limited - CIENCO4 Group Joint Stock Company - Nui Hong Investment Company Limited - Truong Son Construction Corporation - VINA2 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company; the project enterprise is Phuc Thanh Hung Investment Joint Stock Company.

According to the Prime Minister's direction, the section from the beginning of the route (QL7A) to the intersection with QL46B must be completed by April 30, 2024.
