Localities are massively auctioning off land plots, is the market about to "storm"?

Recently, many localities and urban areas have continuously organized land auctions.

For example, the People's Committee of Chuong My district (Hanoi) has just organized an auction of 44 adjacent land lots, with an area of ​​170 - 360m2/lot, belonging to the Van Son Lake golf course resettlement project, Hoang Van Thu commune, with starting prices from 5.5 - 8 million VND/m2.

Similarly, the People's Committee of Son Tay town (Hanoi) organized an auction of 31 land lots, with an area of ​​94 - 140m2/lot belonging to the project of constructing technical infrastructure for the land auction of land use rights in Van Goi - Dong Quan area with a starting price of 28 - 33 million VND/m2.

The People's Committee of Dong Anh district (Hanoi) has just organized an auction of 72 land lots, with an area of ​​87.5 - 167m2/lot, belonging to the project to build technical infrastructure for the auction area of ​​land use rights in Thuy Lam commune with starting prices from 23.5 - 24.5 million VND/m2.

Meanwhile, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has approved the auction of 84 land lots, with an area of ​​105 - 135m2/lot at the residential area project in the North of Nhon Binh ward with a starting price of 15 - 21.6 million VND/m2.

At the same time, Binh Dinh also approved 23 land lots with an area of ​​140 - 158 m2/lot at the Binh Tuong Commune Resettlement Area project with starting prices of 6.6 - 10.2 million VND/m2.

The province also approved 15 land lots, with an area of ​​124.5÷362.5m2/lot in the Long Van new urban area with a starting price of 19.2 - 25.2 million VND/m2; 9 land lots in the resettlement area serving the project of upgrading and expanding National Highway 1D with a starting price of 14 - 18.6 million VND/m2; 12 land lots in the resettlement area serving the project of building the Urban - Commercial Area north of Ha Thanh River with a price of 22 - 26.4 million VND/m2.

In addition, the People's Committee of Kien Giang province has just organized an auction of 167 plots of land at Cai Tre Canal Residential Area, Kien Luong District with a starting price of 220 million VND/plot and 43 plots of land in the Residential Area of ​​the sea dyke road through Vinh Quang Ward, Rach Gia City.

The Ministry of Construction said that after the Lunar New Year holiday, in some areas, prices increased slightly and transactions were quite active. Land auctions in new urban and residential areas were carried out more by localities than in the same period in 2023.

"This is also considered a factor that can help the land market become more vibrant in the coming time," said the Ministry of Construction.
