Accordingly, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province revoked 2 3-star OCOP product certificates including: dried banana products of Minh Quan business household (Hamlet 15, Khanh Thuan commune, Minh district, Ca Mau) because the subject has stopped production and is unable to restore; dried goby fish products of Ngoc Giau Seafood Production and Trading Company Limited (Tan Thanh hamlet, Tan Tien commune, Dam Doi district, Ca Mau) because raw materials are increasingly scarce, the subject has stopped production and business.
After the decision, the 2 products whose certificates were revoked are not allowed to use the OCOP product certification mark (OCOP logo) to print or stick on packaging and labels.
According to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, in 2024, the province will focus on developing new and standardizing at least 40 products. Of which, at least 30 new products will be recognized as 3-4 stars; strive to support and upgrade at least 20 products to 4-5 stars and have at least 20% of OCOP entities being cooperatives, 10% of entities being small and medium enterprises with products recognized as 3 stars or higher; at least 50% of OCOP entities participating in modern sales channels... Currently, Ca Mau has 152 3-star and 4-star OCOP products.
