In order to promote the sports training movement and search for and develop talents for the country's athletics, and at the same time create opportunities to promote the potential and strengths of Binh Phuoc province, and with the agreement of the Provincial People's Committee, Radio - Television and Binh Phuoc Newspaper (BPTV) organized the first Binh Phuoc Marathon in 2023. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Phuoc province, the People's Committee of Phuoc Long town and Binh Phuoc Provincial Youth Union coordinated to organize the tournament. This afternoon, June 6, the Organizing Committee officially announced the tournament.
Attending the award announcement ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Youth Union and ambassadors of the award, representatives of banks, businesses, marathon clubs accompanying the award and news agencies and press.

The first Binh Phuoc Marathon in 2023 is the largest in the province to date. The tournament is expected to have 2,000-3,000 athletes participating, including: professional and semi-professional athletes, officials, workers, employees, officers, armed forces and agencies, units, and businesses in the province and neighboring areas; students, guests, foreign sponsors living, working, and studying in Vietnam and marathon enthusiasts across the country. This is an annual tournament, expected to be held in rotation in localities in Binh Phuoc province.
The opening ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 25, 2023 at the administrative center of Phuoc Long town, Binh Phuoc province. The tournament will officially take place on November 26, 2023, starting and finishing at the administrative center of Phuoc Long town.
Mr. Le Van Duong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietrace365 Joint Stock Company - the co-organizer of the tournament, briefly announced the technical information of the tournament.
The race has the following distances: 5km, 10km, 25km (still counting the results at 21km and there are prizes for the top 5 male and 5 female runners) and 42.195km. The race course is beautiful and challenging, passing through historical landmarks and typical mountains of Binh Phuoc province, bringing new experiences, back to nature. This is also a challenge for the participants.
Participating in the tournament, athletes will run and interact with the ambassador of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 Doan Thien An. In particular, the tournament has ambassadors Hoang Nguyen Thanh and Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa, with the gathering of Vietnam's top marathon and half marathon athletes and leading champions of the Vietnamese running movement. Athletes have the opportunity to enjoy a vibrant music night, experience pounding rice, sing and dance "The sound of pestles on Bom Bo village" and perform Loc Hoa stone guitar - a national treasure, along with songs about Binh Phuoc homeland, as well as impressive rap performances.

The combined tour programs will open on November 25 and 26, 2023 for athletes to visit, such as: fruit gardens, cashew nut processing facilities, rubber, Bu Gia Map National Park, Bom Bo squirrel...
The first Binh Phuoc Marathon 2023 has an attractive prize structure, divided into 2 groups: Professional and amateur for the distances of 25km and 42km. In addition, there will be additional prizes for clubs, teams, and groups with the largest number of registered members.
In particular, the Organizing Committee will donate 20,000 VND/participant to improve seedlings and preserve forests. Through this activity, it aims to raise awareness about protecting and developing nature, precious natural resources of the province and the country. The money will be presented at the opening ceremony of the tournament.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Provincial Party Committee member, Director - Editor-in-Chief of BPTV Nguyen Thi Minh Nham, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 1st Binh Phuoc Marathon in 2023 emphasized: BPTV is honored to be allowed by the provincial leaders to organize the tournament. BPTV wishes to spread more strongly the love of sports and marathon to the community. The tournament is also an opportunity to promote the image of Binh Phuoc land and people, the potential, strengths and investment attraction policies of the province.
The Head of the Organizing Committee affirmed: With the strength of a media unit, having a lot of experience in organizing events, BPTV has enough potential to organize the tournament, thereby creating a playground, a prestigious tournament. The successful organization of the tournament is not only due to the wishes and efforts of the Organizing Committee but also the great contribution of sports lovers, runners and the companionship of departments, branches, localities, units, business communities inside and outside the province.
