Minister of Public Security, General To Lam visited and presented gifts at Thuan Thanh Nursing Center for War Invalids

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on the afternoon of July 25, a working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, visited and presented gifts to war invalids and sick soldiers at Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center.

On the side of Bac Ninh province, there were comrades: Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Nghiem Dinh Trung, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Bui Duy Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department.

Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center is currently caring for 95 wounded and sick soldiers with a disability rate of 81% or more. Despite their disabilities, the comrades always train and strive to improve themselves following Uncle Ho's teachings: "Wounded soldiers are disabled but not useless"...

General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, expressed his appreciation for the contributions of previous generations to the cause of national construction and defense, including the wounded and sick soldiers at the Center; emphasized that in recent times, the People's Public Security force has always remembered the merits and had many practical activities to "repay gratitude" to families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution, and affirmed that it was also a broad political activity of the entire force to educate revolutionary traditions and strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

General To Lam kindly inquired about the living conditions and health of the wounded and sick soldiers at the Center and expressed his joy at seeing the wounded and sick soldiers at the Center being cared for and looked after both physically and mentally; wishing the wounded and sick soldiers to always live happily and optimistically, always being shining examples of courage and sacrifice for the people to learn and follow. At the same time, he requested the Party Committees and authorities at all levels in the province to continue to care for, help and create conditions for the Center to successfully complete its assigned tasks; to better carry out the work of caring for policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in the province, demonstrating the traditional morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".
