Candlelight Ceremony to honor heroic martyrs in localities

On the evening of July 26, the Youth Union of districts, towns and cities in the province solemnly held a Candle Lighting Ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023).

Comrades: Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Huu Quat, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended the Candle Lighting Ceremony to pay tribute to the Heroic Martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Long Chau Commune (Yen Phong District). Comrade Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the Candle Lighting Ceremony to pay tribute to the Heroic Martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Dong Cuu Commune (Gia Binh District). Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the Candle Lighting Ceremony to pay tribute to the Heroic Martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Bac Ninh City. Comrade Tran Thi Hang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended the Candle Lighting Ceremony to pay tribute to the Heroic Martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Phu Lam Commune (Tien Du District). Also attending the Candle Lighting Ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs in localities were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, National Assembly Delegation; leaders of departments, branches and localities in the province.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, provincial and local leaders, union members, youth and people observed a minute of silence to remember and pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroic martyrs; respectfully offered incense, flowers and lit candles on each grave, expressing their infinite gratitude for the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth and blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, embellishing the glorious history of the nation.

On this occasion, all levels, sectors and localities in the province presented many meaningful and practical gifts to wounded soldiers, martyrs' relatives and people with meritorious services.
