The investment and repair objective is to ensure traffic safety and maintain the operational efficiency of the project.
For sections km0+000 - km1+000 (the beginning of the route through Vinh Dien ward, Dien Ban town) and km14+300 - km15+280 (Ai Nghia town, Dai Loc district), the area of the road surface with severe cracks and rutted wheel tracks will be scraped and regenerated cold in place with foam bitumen and cement with a depth of 18cm, watered with standard emulsion and then covered with a layer of asphalt concrete 5cm thick. The total repair area is 10,999.05m2 .
The slightly cracked and damaged road surface will be watered with asphalt emulsion, then a 5cm thick layer of asphalt concrete will be laid, combined with the old road surface compensation, with a repair area of 7,818.94m2 .
At the intersection of the first route (the old National Highway 1 and Phan Thuc Duyen Street, Vinh Dien Ward), the old damaged asphalt concrete surface will be excavated to a thickness of 12cm, watered with standard asphalt and restored with a 7cm thick asphalt concrete layer. After that, watered with standard emulsion, a 5cm thick layer of asphalt concrete will be laid with a total repair area of 175.80m2 .
For the intersection at Ai Nghia crossroads (the intersection between DT609 and DT609B through Ai Nghia town), the area of the road surface with slight cracks will be watered with standard asphalt emulsion, then covered with a 5cm thick layer of asphalt concrete combined with compensation for the old road surface with a repair area of 575.13m2 .
The road surface with severe cracks and rutted wheel tracks will be dug out with an average thickness of 25cm, the crushed stone aggregate base layer will be restored with a thickness of 18cm, watered with standard asphalt and a 7cm thick asphalt concrete layer; watered with standard emulsion and then a 5cm thick asphalt concrete layer will be laid with a repair area of 698.70m2 .
Quang Nam authorities also repaired Loc My bridge at km20+795, passing through Dai Quang commune (Dai Loc district). Accordingly, damaged expansion joints were replaced with rail-shaped expansion joints, working width 5cm. Repaired the ends of the main steel I-beams and cross beams. Repaired some damaged handrails; repainted all handrail pillars of the bridge. Added damaged surface drainage pipes along both sides of the bridge.
Mr. Van Anh Tuan said that the project is a type of road traffic repair project. The total investment is more than 11.5 billion VND from the economic career capital for road maintenance activities (state budget). The project implementation progress is in 2024 - 2025.
