In addition to the 10th grade admission method, from 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will also regulate the work of creating exam questions, invigilation, grading, review... to ensure serious organization, safety, and fairness for all candidates.
Accurate exam, with anti-cheating measures
Regarding exam questions: The Ministry of Education and Training requires that the exam question creation process must ensure safety and confidentiality at all stages from exam question creation, printing, transporting, handing over and preserving exam questions. Exam questions must ensure accuracy, scientificity and pedagogical value.
Regarding exam supervision, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that exam supervision must be organized to ensure fairness, safety, and seriousness. The assignment of responsibilities among exam supervisors must be complete and clear, ensuring independence and objectivity among stages; and measures must be taken to prevent cheating in exams.
From 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will also regulate the work of creating exam questions, invigilation, grading, and review... in the 10th grade high school entrance exam. |
The Department of Education and Training shall arrange the structure of invigilators and supervisors in accordance with the number of examination rooms. The number of candidates in each examination room shall not exceed 24 candidates, and each examination room shall have 2 supervisors.
Security testing
The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that the marking of exams must ensure the safety and confidentiality of the exam papers at all stages: receiving and handing over the exam papers, preserving the exam papers, making the scorecards, and organizing the marking. The marking of exams must ensure accuracy and objectivity according to the answers and marking instructions.
For essay marking, at least 10 papers must be jointly marked; two independent rounds of marking must be organized. For multiple-choice marking, if multiple-choice marking software is used, training must be organized for examiners on how to use multiple-choice marking software. Multiple-choice marking software must be accurate, scientific and tested before use.
The admission score for grade 10 high school is the total score of all subjects and tests calculated on a 10-point scale for each subject and test. The announcement of the benchmark score is carried out at the same time as the announcement of the test scores.
