Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota all scored in Liverpool's 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in round 10 of the Premier League on October 29.
Luis Diaz's parents were kidnapped the day before Liverpool's game with Nottingham Forest, so the Colombian striker missed the clash at Anfield. Jota made up for Diaz's absence by opening the scoring, before Nunez and Salah added two more as Liverpool won their third successive match in all competitions.
Sometimes football comes second and 29/10 was such a day at Anfield. The entire Liverpool squad were sad and had a "difficult night" worrying about the situation of Luis Diaz's family. But the home team still knew how to put their worries aside, overwhelming a Nottingham team of much lower quality.

The test of mentality and character was passed, as the home team fought for Diaz and his family. In the end, Diaz's parents were rescued and Liverpool won big.
The pressure from Jurgen Klopp's team was evident in the 31st minute, when Salah passed the ball to Nunez in the right corner and then finished hard, before Jota scored the opener. Jota is the second Portuguese player to reach 50 goals in the Premier League, after Cristiano Ronaldo.
Just four minutes later, Dominic Szoboszlai crossed for Nunez to tap in and make it 2-0 for Liverpool. The first half score could have been higher, if goalkeeper Matt Turner had not made consecutive saves from Szoboslai and Ryan Gravenberch.
Liverpool proved right to reject a nearly $200 million bid for Salah from the Middle East. Ten goals and four assists this season have proven the Egyptian superstar remains an integral part of Klopp's side. He became only the third player in the club's history to score in five consecutive home games, sealing a 3-0 win in the 77th minute.

It was the easiest goal of Salah's career, with an empty net in front of him after Turner's foul. The third goal's creator, Szoboslai, was also a bright spot with plenty of energy throughout the match. The home team could have won by a bigger margin, had VAR not ruled out Cody Gakpo's third-minute stoppage goal.
Liverpool's third straight win kept them three points clear of leaders Tottenham. Nottingham Forest, without a win for the sixth straight game, are still on 10 points from 10 games and in 16th place.
