BIDV, Agribank to launch online gold bar sales from June 17

The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has just announced the launch of the feature "Register to buy SJC gold bars online" for individual customers on the bank's website from June 17.

According to BIDV, to ensure the registration and transaction of buying SJC gold bars is public, transparent, convenient and safe, the bank only sells SJC gold bars to customers who have registered to buy gold online and come to transact at the announced location and time frame.

In case the customer does not come to the transaction after more than 30 minutes of the appointment time, BIDV has the right to cancel the customer's online gold purchase registration to serve the next customers.

Customers register to buy SJC gold bars online at BIDV from 9:30 to 11:30 ( the system will not record any new registrations when the maximum number of registrations that the relevant Branch can serve in a day has been reached ). Pay and receive gold at BIDV's SJC gold bar sales point from 13:30 to 16:00 on the same day.

BIDV notes that customers need to prepare valid identification documents (CCCD/CMTND/Passport) and a photo/screen print of the successful online gold purchase registration to be able to buy gold at the announced gold selling point.

BIDV launches online sale of SJC gold bars from June 17.

Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) also announced that from June 17, 2024, it will deploy the utility to register to buy SJC gold bars online right on the website.

Accordingly, Agribank only provides SJC gold bar sales service to customers who have successfully registered to buy SJC gold bars online on the bank's website.

Time to register to buy gold online on Agribank website: from 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday every week (except holidays and public holidays as prescribed).

Time to pay and receive gold at Agribank's SJC gold bar sales point is from 13:30 - 16:00 on the day of successful gold purchase registration.

Agribank also notes to Customers that after successfully registering to buy SJC gold bars online, customers need to come to the correct location and time notified by Agribank via Email to make the gold purchase transaction.

In case the customer does not come to transact more than 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment, Agribank will cancel the customer's registration information to serve the next person. Previously, Vietcombank deployed this feature from June 12 .
