Commendation of outstanding groups and individuals in activities of sponsoring people with disabilities and orphans

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Vietnam's Day for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) (April 18, 1980 - April 18, 2025), on the afternoon of April 18, the Provincial Association for the Protection of PWDs and Protection of Children's Rights held a conference to honor PWDs, orphans (ORDs) and outstanding sponsors of Thai Binh province in 2025. Comrades: Do Manh Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of PWDs and ORDs; Le Tuyet Mai, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights; Pham Van Nghiem, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the conference.

Currently, the province has over 50,000 PWDs and over 10,500 TMCs. In recent times, all levels and sectors from the province to the grassroots level, along with organizations, businesses and philanthropists, have paid attention and provided material and spiritual support to share the difficulties and disadvantages of PWDs and TMCs. Thanks to that, many PWDs have had more motivation to overcome difficulties, confidently take control of their lives and become typical examples in various fields.

Speaking at the conference, the Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Disabled and Children's Rights acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Provincial Association for the Protection of Disabled and Children's Rights in the past time. He hoped that the association would continue to promote propaganda, innovate forms of resource mobilization; continue to effectively implement projects, programs and activities to care for disabled, children with disabilities and children in especially difficult circumstances.

Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans.

Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Vietnam's Disabled People's Day.

Individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Children's Rights.

At the conference, certificates of merit were awarded by the Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Children's Rights to 1 collective and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the protection of disabled people and children's rights in the period of 2020 - 2025; certificates of merit were awarded by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 1 collective and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Vietnam's Day for Disabled People; certificates of merit were awarded by the Chairman of the Provincial Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Children's Rights Protection to 23 disabled people, children's rights holders, and outstanding sponsors in Thai Binh province in the period of 2020 - 2025.
