On the evening of February 2, an art program celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and the 236th anniversary of the historic Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory (1789 - 2025) took place on the stage in front of the City Theater (HCMC).
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Mr. Phan Van Mai - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le - Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Tran Kim Yen - Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee...
The program was organized by the Organizing Committee of Ho Chi Minh City's major holidays, performed by Ho Chi Minh City Light Music Center, directed by artists Huu Quoc and Duong Thao, attracting thousands of people to stop and watch the spring festival at Nguyen Hue Flower Street.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - reviewed the history of our nation's struggle for independence, as well as the process of founding the Communist Party of Vietnam.
He said Ho Chi Minh City is proud to be the place where beloved Uncle Ho began his journey to find a way to save the country and is the city honored to bear his name.
"The Party Committee and people of Ho Chi Minh City continue to promote the tradition of a heroic city with solidarity, comprehensive efforts, overcoming all challenges, overcoming all difficulties, combining the combined strength of the entire political system and the endogenous strength of the great national solidarity bloc of the city; with the traditional fulcrum, determined to promote the development of Ho Chi Minh City by 2030 to become a modern service and industrial city, with a prominent position in the Southeast Asian region.
By 2045, Ho Chi Minh City will develop on par with major cities in the world, becoming the economic, financial and service center of Asia, an attractive global destination with distinctive economic and cultural development.
Entering 2025 with many special meanings, it is a year of acceleration and breakthrough to complete the goals of the 11th term of the City Party Congress and create the premise for a new development stage, preparing for party congresses at all levels towards the 12th Congress of the City Party Committee, making achievements to welcome the 14th National Party Congress.

The city has been urgently completing key programs, projects, and special emulation movements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification in all economic, cultural, social, defense, and security fields.
In 2025, the city will focus on streamlining the organization to be lean, strong, efficient, effective and efficient; promoting digital transformation; implementing Resolution No. 98 of the National Assembly; and fundamentally resolving the city's difficulties and backlogs.

With the theme of Vietnam's aspiration for power , the art program includes three chapters: The country of ten thousand springs, The glorious journeys, The era of rising.
In the opening chapter of the program, the Tay Son heroic footsteps music scene recreates the historic Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory.
The performance was elaborately staged through excerpts from reformed opera: The Ascension of the Emperor , Emperor Quang Trung ( the march of the gods ) , Thang Long with the color of apricot blossoms combined with the songs Tay Son Hero and Spring Lute.
Performed by artists Huu Quoc, Thoai My, Dien Trung, Nguyen Van Khoi, Thy Trang, Nha Thi... and singers Nguyen Phi Hung, Duong Quoc Hung, Tung Lam, Trang Nhung.

The program ended with youthful, vibrant songs praising the new vitality of the city named after Uncle Ho through the voices of Nguyen Phi Hung, Vo Ha Tram, Luu Hien Trinh, Duyen Quynh, Truc Lai, MTV group...
