Election of additional members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee

On August 21, the Provincial Party Executive Committee held its 54th meeting to carry out the process of electing additional members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

Delegates voted to elect additional members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

After implementing the process of introducing personnel to supplement the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term according to regulations, on July 19, 2024, the Central Organizing Committee issued a document agreeing with the proposal to introduce comrade Diep Van Chien, Provincial Party Committee member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission, to be elected to the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Pursuant to Regulation No. 24-QD/TW dated July 30, 2021 of the Party Central Committee on the implementation of the Party Charter and Decision No. 244-QD/TW dated June 9, 2014 of the Party Central Committee on promulgating the Election Regulations within the Party, at the conference, the Provincial Party Committee carried out the process of electing additional members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, gave a speech at the conference.

With the spirit of democracy, objectivity, openness, transparency, solidarity and responsibility, 100% of the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee present voted unanimously to elect comrade Diep Van Chien, Provincial Party Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, as an additional member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: Personnel work is a key factor in Party building, ensuring inheritance, development and continuous, steady transition between generations of cadres, maintaining internal solidarity and political stability of the province. She hopes that Comrade Diep Van Chien will continue to make efforts, promote the spirit of solidarity, and work with the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee to successfully complete assigned tasks.
