Most of the directors of cooperatives in Nui Thanh district are very young. Like Mr. Nguyen Tien Manh - Director of Nui Thanh Agricultural - Fishery Cooperative (Tam Tien commune).

With the enthusiasm of youth, Mr. Manh and the people of Tam Tien coastal area built a brand, developed anchovy fish cakes and local seafood specialties. Mr. Manh has worked hard to research and create Tam Tien anchovy fish cakes, which have been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as 4-star OCOP.

“The cooperative continues to make efforts to promote and trade, connect supply and demand, and exhibit products at fairs in and outside the province to open up the market and find export directions,” said Mr. Manh.

Another very young director of the cooperative is Ms. Vo Thu Thuy. Ms. Thuy developed the Tam Anh Nam Agricultural - Medicinal Plants Cooperative (Nui Thanh) in 2022 from a cordyceps mushroom production facility.

Up to now, the Cooperative has developed many OCOP product lines from Cordyceps and coordinated with local farmers to grow 1.2 hectares of cajuput leaves to process into cajuput essential oil for sale in and outside the province. Or the activities of the Trung Hai Agricultural and Aquatic Products Cooperative (Tam Hai Commune, Nui Thanh), the role of Ms. Pham Thi Le Na - Director of the Cooperative must be mentioned.

After the product "Miss Kieu's shredded squid" of the Cooperative was recognized as a 3-star OCOP product, Ms. Na continued to implement the idea of ​​producing a new product "Miss Kieu's crispy dried fish", which is also an OCOP product with a brand and position in the market.

Currently, in Nui Thanh district, there are 50 cooperatives operating, of which 38 agricultural cooperatives are producing and doing business effectively, creating a shift for rural industrial activities in the locality.

Many traces can be seen in the development of cooperatives in Nui Thanh. The closed production model of oyster mushrooms, lingzhi mushrooms, and wood ear mushrooms of Hoang Hai Tam Quang Agricultural Cooperative uses automation technology to control the humidity of the mushroom growing environment.

The hydroponic vegetable growing model of Dream Garden Agricultural Cooperative applies high technology to control the nutritional content of hydroponic solutions and the nutritional needs of plants. Mr. Le Van Sinh - Chairman of Nui Thanh District People's Committee said that cooperatives in the area have promoted their role in gathering and mobilizing farmers to participate in joint production, changing their thinking and working methods.

At the same time, effectively apply scientific and technical advances, improve production efficiency and well implement joint ventures and associations, ensuring stable output for agricultural products. Notably, cooperatives have created jobs, solved employment, helped people have more stable income, contributed to building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction for the locality.
