Copa America 2024 rankings updated in detail on June 28

In Group A of Copa America 2024, the Argentina team won both first matches and officially entered the quarterfinals.

All three remaining teams have a chance to compete for second place in the group, with Canada having the advantage with a win over Peru in their opening match.

In Group B, Venezuela is the next team to register for the quarter-finals after 2 wins. Ecuador and Mexico will compete for the remaining spot with 3 points each. Jamaica said goodbye to the tournament after not gaining any points with 2 defeats.

In Group C, Uruguay have qualified for the quarter-finals after two convincing victories. They beat Bolivia 5-0 and are currently the team with the best attack in the tournament.

The US surprisingly lost to Panama, making the group stage more difficult. They need to win big in their final match against Uruguay to have any hope of making it out of the group stage. And that is certainly not an easy task.

Panama only have to face the weakest opponent in the group in the last round. Bolivia has been eliminated and this factor will give Panama an advantage over the US.

In Group D, Colombia is temporarily leading the group after Brazil's shocking draw with Costa Rica in the opening match. Brazil will have to beat Paraguay before facing Colombia in the final match.

The race for the top spot will be between Colombia and Brazil. It would be disappointing if the Selecao fail to top the group with such a quality squad.
