Handing over breeding cows to poor households in Bac Ai district

On February 22, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Bac Ai District People's Committee to hand over breeding cows to 10 poor households in Phuoc Binh Commune (Bac Ai). Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee attended.

This is an activity initiated by comrade Nguyen Chi Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Planning and Investment, mobilizing businesses to implement together to support the livelihoods of poor households and disadvantaged families in the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024. The total cost is 450 million VND, of which the Minister personally supports 150 million VND, and Hacom Holdings Investment Joint Stock Company supports 300 million VND. Accordingly, each disadvantaged household will be given a breeding cow worth 15 million VND to develop their livelihood and stabilize their lives.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee highly appreciated the practical significance of this activity, demonstrating the attention of the Party and State in caring for people's lives, helping the poor have conditions to escape poverty and develop the economy. He hoped that households would actively take care of the cows so that they could develop and grow well; he suggested that the Front and local authorities need to monitor, inspect and report on the effectiveness after the handover so that this livelihood model can truly promote sustainable effectiveness and continue to be expanded in the coming time.
