The Prime Minister has just signed Decision No. 137/QD-TTg dated February 1 to transfer and appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Agencies of Nghe An province, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training. This decision takes effect from February 1.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi was appointed Deputy Minister of Education and Training.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi was born on November 2, 1971, hometown Thanh Ngoc Commune, Thanh Chuong District, Nghe An Province. Ms. Chi has a university degree, majoring in literature pedagogy.
Before being appointed, Ms. Chi had more than 30 years of working experience, growing up as a teacher at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted (Nghe An) and had 17 years of teaching experience. Of which, 5 years were spent as Vice Principal of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
Ms. Chi was then appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An. Since December 2010, Ms. Chi has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, a delegate of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council for the 2011-2016 term; a member of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee; Secretary of the Party Committee of the Agencies of Nghe An Province.
Currently, the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training include Minister Nguyen Kim Son, Deputy Ministers Nguyen Van Phuc, Pham Ngoc Thuong, Ngo Thi Minh, Hoang Minh Son and Nguyen Thi Kim Chi.
