Ms. Haley attacked President Biden and Donald Trump, the two leading candidates of the Democratic and Republican parties, calling them "grumpy old men".
Nikki Haley's campaign said on January 31 that it is launching ads that focus on the age and mental health of former US President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden.
Ms Haley, a former US ambassador to the United Nations, said Mr Biden, 81, and Mr Trump, 77, did not campaign aggressively, attacking them as profligate campaign spenders.
The 52-year-old candidate has made age and mental capacity a key issue in the race for the White House. She said it was time for a new generation of leaders, calling for a competency test for politicians over 75.

The former US ambassador to the UN mocked Mr Biden as a “stumbling old man” and sarcastically called Mr Trump a “debate dodger”, her attack inspired by the 1993 comedy hit in which Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau played grumpy old men.
"Unfortunately, this real-life version of grumpy old men is not entertaining and only brings chaos, confusion and bad feelings to the American people," said Olivia Perez-Cubas, a spokeswoman for Ms. Haley.
Ms. Haley and Mr. Trump are competing for the Republican presidential nomination. Polls show Ms. Haley always trailing Mr. Trump by a large margin.
