In 1981, ATK Dinh Hoa Relic Site was ranked as a National Relic Site. ATK Dinh Hoa is the focal point of the unique historical relic complex of the Vietnamese people's war in the 20th century; it was the revolutionary base of the Party Central Committee, the Government, Uncle Ho and the revolutionary headquarters during the resistance war against French colonialism.

ATK Dinh Hoa National Special Relic is a place where revolutionary forces were built to liberate the nation from colonial slavery, bringing the government back to the people. This is a prime location closely linked together to build a resistance base in a geostrategic position suitable for people's war, steadfastly fighting against colonial invaders, protecting national independence and freedom.

From ATK Dinh Hoa - the center of the Central Security Zone, the Party Central Committee, President Ho Chi Minh decided on many major policies: Viet Bac counter-offensive campaign, Northeast and Northwest campaigns, border campaigns. Especially approving the combat plan, deciding to launch the historic Dien Bien Phu campaign...

After the National Resistance Day on December 19, 1946, Dinh Hoa district, along with Dai Tu, Phu Luong, Vo Nhai districts (Thai Nguyen province), Cho Don and Cho Moi districts (Bac Kan province), Son Duong and Chiem Hoa districts (Tuyen Quang province) became the Central Safe Zone in the Viet Bac base, in which Dinh Hoa was considered the center of the Windy Capital, the liberated zone capital.

Here, President Ho Chi Minh and comrades Vo Nguyen Giap, Nguyen Luong Bang, Tran Dang Ninh, Ton Duc Thang, Hoang Quoc Viet, Nguyen Chi Thanh led the resistance to victory. Most of the Party and Government's historic decisions during the resistance war against French colonialism were made at ATK Dinh Hoa.

The ATK relic complex, including more than 20 relics ranked at the national level, is a "red address" for educating revolutionary traditions, attracting a large number of visitors such as President Ho Chi Minh relic in Khau Ty; Relic of the location where the first general rank conferment ceremony of our army took place in Na Lom; President Ho Chi Minh relic in Na Dinh hill, Khuon Tat hamlet...

"During the resistance war against the French, Uncle Ho, the Party Central Committee, and the Government stayed and worked in Khuon Tat village to make decisions during the Autumn-Winter campaign of 1953-1954. This is a special relic during the resistance war and up to now, the Party, the Government, the leaders of Thai Nguyen province and Dinh Hoa district, and the leaders of Phu Dinh commune have focused on building and embellishing it," said Mr. Trieu Dinh Thinh, Secretary of the Khuon Tat hamlet Party cell.

Coming to ATK Dinh Hoa, visitors can not only see De Pass and Hong Mountain with their own eyes - places that have entered poetry and history; immerse themselves in the nature of palm forests, tea hills, conquer the majestic 7-storey Khuon Tat waterfall... but also visit and learn about many historical - cultural relics and scenic spots.

Khau Ty Hill belongs to the ATK Dinh Hoa relic site, which is the first headquarters of Uncle Ho at ATK Dinh Hoa, in Na Tra hamlet, Diem Mac commune. Uncle Ho lived and worked here until mid-October 1947...

At the end of 1947, President Ho Chi Minh and his agencies moved to the foot of Hong Mountain to continue leading the resistance to victory. After work, President Ho Chi Minh spent time composing a very famous poem on Khau Ty Hill. That was the poem Canh Khuya: "The sound of the stream is clear like a distant song. The moon is in the old trees, the shadow is in the flowers. The night scene is like a painting, people are not sleeping. Not sleeping because they are worried about the country". And right here, Uncle Ho also wrote the book "Changing the way of working" under the pen name XYZ.

In addition, visitors can also visit some other places such as: the location of the General Command of the Vietnam People's Army (1949 - 1954). This is the working headquarters of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the Office of the General Military Commission and the location of the General Command Office on Khau Cuoi hill; visit the relic cluster in Khuon Tat: Banyan tree, Khuon Tat stream, the stilt house and the bunker where Uncle Ho lived on Na Dinh hill (Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district), Pu Don hill location, where President Ho Chi Minh presided over the ceremony to confer the rank of General to comrade Vo Nguyen Giap (1948), (Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district).
